I am a senior at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia and am pursuing a degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in print journalism as well as a minor in political science. I am currently the Sports Editor and a senior reporter for The Colonnade, the university newspaper. I am also a stringer for The Courier Herald in Dublin, Georgia, where I have covered local sports since graduating high school in 2007. I have a deep passion for writing and journalism and I am a firm believer in freedom of the press. In addition to journalism, my areas of interest include sports, music, politics and history.
